Refurbishing the church for the 21st century - CC2020

Church interior 2016
CC2020 is the name of the project at All Saints Church to refurbish its interior to make it fit for purpose for the 21st century.

Architects Acanthus Clews of Banbury have been commissioned to produce some feasible options.

The designs will reflect the core needs which have been identified over the last 18 months of discussion and consultation.

These are:

1. Retain the feeling of being a holy place

2. Enable a variety of types of worship

3. Provide an auditorium, exhibition and entertainment space for church and community

4. Be open seven days a week providing a suitable environment for private prayer and reflection

5. Be hospitable,  welcome, kitchen, and toilets

6. Be fully accessible

7. Provide a quality environment

During 2017 the church community will be discussing, consulting and sharing the needs for these changes in earnest.
